Applications are invited from experienced retired Police Officers for filling up 2(Two) vacant post of Vigilance Officer in (i) the O/o the General Manager,Tezpur Electrical Zone, APDCL, CAR, Tezpur and (ii) O/o the General Manager,Silchar Electrical Zone, APDCL, CAR, Silchar on contractual basis Initially for a period of 1 (One) year at a monthly remuneration equal to last pay drawn minus pension.

Educational Qualification and Experience: 
(1) Retired Police Officers not below the rank of Additional SP or Dy. S.P who are below the age of 62 (Sixty two) years on 01/0812019.
(2) The officers should be physically fit and healthy, capable of carrying out anti-power theft operations in urban as well as in remote rural areas.
(3) The officers should have experience of serving in fields as 0/C of police Stations or as District Officer having good knowledge of law and police manuals. (4) Local Officers having good knowledge about the area of Jurisdiction will be given preference. 

The term of re-employment may be extended beyond one year considering the suitability and necessity.

Applications are invited from willing candidates satisfying the following eligibility criteria for the post of Chairperson, Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum (CGRF) ofAssam Power Distribution Company Limited at Guwahati for a minimum period of 3 years.

Educational Qualification: The applicant shall be a retired judicial officer having at least 20 years of experience in legal judicial profession, or a retired civil servant not below the rank of Joint Secretary of the State Government, or a retired Principal of a recognized Engineering College, or a retired member of Faculty of the Electrical Engineering Department of a recognized Engineering College having at least 20 years of service experience.

Maximum Age (as on 01.01.2019): 65 (Sixty five) years.
Pay: Consolidated remuneration of Rs 25,000/- p.m. will be allowed. In addition, the Chairperson will be entitled to conveyance allowance of 10% of remuneration per month for attending the official duties of the Forum.
